PMCKM is an international architecture and design practice led by Brazilian architect Maria Paz de Moura Castro King and German architect Mark Mückenheim, bringing together two established studios under one collaborative vision. With offices in the San Francisco Bay Area, Belo Horizonte, and the Greater Munich Area, our work connects cultures and continents.

We focus on buildings for art and culture, as well as selected residential and public projects. Our collaborative approach draws on the timelessness and precision of German engineering and design, and the spatial generosity and elegance of Brazilian architectural culture, bringing these influences together in a shared contemporary international design language.

We pursue projects that invite thoughtful, conceptually clear, and carefully made architectural responses, translating ideas into meaningful spaces with character and lasting value.
